Coastal animal and plant identification key-book "Discover the sea coast!" has been published. It will help identify the most common species of the coast of the Baltic Sea. This pocket size book is waterproof and very easy to use. It may be used while discovering the nature by yourself or while hiking together with guide. You are welcome to find out more about coast of the Baltic Sea and its nature values – animal and plant species that are adapted to always changing and harsh conditions. The coastal territory of Slītere National Park has had very small impact from human activities. Here many endangered species not only in Latvia but also in European level has found their home. In the key-book you will find information about typical animals and plants and nature elements found on the coast, embryonic, white and grey dunes.
