The newspaper Slītere National Park News 2012 is out! It was made in cooperation with Nature Conservation Agency and Dundaga municipality, financed by Baltic Green Belt Project. The year 2012 is very significant anniversary for nature conservation. The society of Latvia can be proud of 100 year long nature conservation history as in 1912 the first protected nature territory was established – Moriscala Strict Nature Reserve. The anniversary of nature conservation is the most important but not the only news in the News.
Interviews with nature photographers, successful guest house owners and our view of other countries experience in nature tourism are only a few topics included. The last page – map of Dundaga district helps finding objects of interest in this region.
